Free health care for uninsured and underinsured patients of all ages

Open Arms Health Clinic (OAHC) is a non-profit health clinic staffed by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and grants.  Our clinic is in Southwest Arlington, Texas.  You may leave a voice mail 24/7 and it will be answered the next time the clinic is open (if not before). See below for the hours we see patients. We are a registered 501(c)(3) (state and federal) tax-exempt organization, providing general medical care* for the uninsured and  underinsured.

OAHC opened its doors in Nov of 2011. As of September 2014, the clinic has provided almost 6,000 visits to more than 2,200 unique patients. Most come to us for care of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and asthma. Some come for non-emergency acute illnesses.

*We are not equipped to provide Pre-Natal care or to diagnose or treat sexually transmitted diseases  (STDs).

We do not prescribe pain medications or any control substances.

Office Hours: Fridays 10am-3pm  and Tuesdays 5pm-8pm
(New patients need to be at the clinic at least 2 hours early to be put on a waiting list.)
Please see section "Who can be seen for details"

Hours may be added according to patient needs and the availability of volunteers & healthcare providers. Pray for more providers and nurses. Because turning away patients in need is truly the hardest thing we do.

OAHC is located north of I-20 in a one-story strip mall behind 3939 Green Oaks Centre and north of the Kroger
Shopping Center in Arlington, Texas.

Make a Donation

We rely solely on donations and grants to keep the clinic running. While chronically ill patients need consistent medical care, the demand is often greater than we can handle in our few hours of operation. With donations, we can extend those hours and never turn away another patient.

All donations are tax deductible with documentation supplied for tax purposes. We accept both monetary gifts and supplies. Please make checks out to:
